“Happiness” is carved from a Black Walnut slab. All the outer edges were left natural to show off the woods beauty. Gentle waves that come to a sharp point were carved out of the wood to reveal the beautiful figure in the walnut. The middle section has randomly sized half rounds with a blue copper patina applied, for a real pop of color against the dark of the wood.
