This gorgeous sculpture was carved from Mesquite Burl that wa burnt in a fire. First the chainsaw roughed out the design, skillfully carving the waves, bends and feet. Then various grinders finished up, carefully smoothing out the piece and finessing it. It was sanded to a very fine grit and several coats of hand rubbed oil was applied.
