This beautiful sculpture is carved from Box Elder Burl. Starting with the chainsaw, a bulk of the wood is removed being careful to leave some of the natural elements in tact, such as the rock that the burl grew around. Grinders finished up all the waves, bends and feet. A slight cherry stain was used in the finish to make the burl grain really pop. This unique sculpture is sure to be a conversation piece.
